A suggestion.

Division specific training. I am aware that we "do" this. Do is in quotes because we've never actually done it (to my knowledge). We need division specific training that doesn't give you promotions, but does actually train you. I'm a STINGER unit, and I have no idea whatsoever how to do my job. I think the same can go for every other unit. Yeah, that's it, I guess.

It sounds about fair to me, maybe something can be re-arranged and concerns about not knowing your job would sure be a sign of you to inform your nearest instructor of this detriment on your understanding.
