>>> Log Entry 01. Arrival day. The Nexus is a chilling place I must say. As soon as my interview was finished I was immediately given my results. I passed. Initially my emotions were those of excitement, but now they are that of inquiry. I wonder what challenges lie ahead of me at this point. I am limited to the Nexus until I am promoted through my current rank and into a division. I wonder which I will join. I thought about joining the Judgment Division but I feel I am more interested in researching living creatures. I have heard that the BIO division is responsible for maintaining different lifeforms. One species of these lifeforms is the Vortigaunt, or a BIOTIC. I have also heard rumors that the BIO division experiments with parasites. It's a creepy thought. Either way, the BIO division seems to be the perfect place for me. I will become an ALPHA unit, assuming I pass my first training.

>>> Anyways, when I passed my initial evaluation I was given a winter-camo uniform. I personally do not see the purpose of this uniform. I stick out like a sore-thumb to everyone. I suppose the purpose of this RCT uniform is so that even citizens know I am a new unit- not that I can leave the Nexus anyways. I have my standard issue stun-baton and 9mm government pistol as well. I was told not to even think about touching the pistol. The MPF is really rigorous for RCTs. I can't access the armory for ammunition anyways, so why can't I even clean the pistol? I guess it's in case I break it.
