Anatomical Information: The Zombie
Parasitus Carcinicus, more commonly known as the zombie, is a sub-species of homosapien that has been infected with the parasitic Capitus Cancritus, dubbed the Headcrab in layman's terms.
The transition of a Homosapien to a Parasitus Carcinicus is an extremely agonizing and harrowing procedure, during which the Capitus Cancritus inserts the amalgamation of 'beaks' on its belly into either clavicle, jugular vein, and carotid vein, all whilst the host is completely conscious. Preceding the rapid decomposition of the host, a paralyzing venom (Hypoxenzide) is released into the jugular and carotid veins, causing all bodily functions, except circulatory and respiratory, to cease, as well as all muscles to be cut off from the central nervous system.
The only voluntary functions the host can perform are breathing and activation of the vocal cords. Then, another venom (Oxycentricide) is released into the blood, which causes the rapid decomposition of external tissue, as well as the elongation of the fingers into deadly 'claws'. Additionally, a large frontal portion of the torso is wasted away, forming a sort of 'mouth'.
From there on out, the parasite performs all voluntary functions, except respiration and vocal activation.
Additionally, the oxycentricide increases the alkaline value of the blood, causing it to have an effect similar to bleach.

Bleach isn't acidic, though. It's alkalinic.
You got it right other than, though.
Good job.

Thank you.
Alkalinic? Huh. I always though it was acidic.
