Unity: Community play. Empty Unity: Community play.

Pretty much by this I mean that it would be nice if our community got together and played more than just gmod. we should all play lots of games, stick with one another hence "unity." It would be quite nice to have your "Friends" come and play with one another. It would also be nice to see [VG] Tags fill the scoreboard on a server that we don't even own. Mainly because it would be funny.

If everyone gets bored with that server we all leave, and suddenly it just empty. I would love to organize play groups, but for the time just filling up the Hl2rp server, as always it is nice to have players there. But when you don't feel like Rp, it would be nice to play with other community members, playing DayZ with just 32 of our players would be perfect, we would take over a server and just LOOOOOOT. Then once we are all top geared, we can have firefights or something like that.

Anything to keep our community together! Instead of gaming feeling like an alone thing. We will be able to do it with friends, or well... Maybe you don't feel like we are friends, or you just plain out don't like some of the other members. Even so; we should still do this, as it would be fun and give you the feeling of belonging to a "Family" of gamers, I for one would love this, but I have no negative feeling to anyone in our community anyway. Unless you count "Mint berry crunch" and his followers. BUT! That is a subject that I would rather not write about, as it will spoil this thread even more.

If you find this to be a good idea, please let me know. I would love to have you guys play more games with one another, and so on and so forth.

Last time a server I played on did this, they became Uber decentralized and actually changed their main game to Minecraft. I came for the HL2RP, stayed for the HL2RP, and left when there was no more HL2RP.

I didn't mean it like that... I mean, its more like; you see a community member playing another game that you own, so you join them for fun.

I've been meaning to get a group together and play PAYDAY 2 together with, so that could be one thing as well.

We should expand to consoles; maybe play The Last of Us or Battlefield together. I'm aware that a lot of us have said games. And, as someone said, GTA V is a good idea. These are just examples, i'm sure there's many more.

If you guys have like L4D2 or PAYDAY 2, I can host a thing where a handful of community members just come and play. I also have Battlefield 4 and Titanfall on PC if you guys wanna get together on that as well. Hell maybe Arma 3 as well.

If this community is going to unify, we need some sort of perm communication(teamspeak). Where we can talk, and plan things.

See, the problem I personally have with a RP Community having a TS, is no matter what it's supposed to be used for, people are going to be more inclined to be on there while on an RP server, and goof off. It's nothing personal, it is just over these 4 years I've seen these communities with their own TS's or mumble, the playerbase goofs around and isn't as IC as often from my experience.

This is just my own experience though. I'm not downing the idea, I'm just saying a con that can come with it.

Also, if you have a Voice server for your community, that's when your group effort and team spirit goes straight down the shitter. That's an undeniable fact.

Somebody doesn't like what you do on the server. Usually it wouldn't really get around too much fuzz, but because of Teamspeak, whoever dislikes what you're doing goes "oh god hes bla bla again".

Next time you do something of the sort; "Omg he was right he is bla bla bla"

And before you know it, everyone is talking shit about everyone except to the people that need to be talked to.

The fact is even the tiniest issues eventually become a big, flashing, red-hot issue in the long run. Having a voice server is the catalyst.

I am begging you, for your own sake, do not get a mumble/TS/Vent for the RP. Just don't. I talk from experience.

I would love to elaborate further, but I'm eating dinner.

And along with that. If I'm able to host any events in the games I mentioned in a previous post, I know of one we can borrow for events(Notice the borrow FOR EVENTS, not a permanent residence).
