A little Recomendation.

Okay, So long long ago, on a server long long dead, there was a system in place, that improved the RP so greatly, it made the grinches heart go 1M fold.
Anyways There was this one server that I used to play on all the time, it is actually the only server I would probably donate to on Gmod so far. But it had this one system in place, that really increased the RP, and actually made sense.
It was this registration procces, So this is how it would work, You would arrive on the train, you woul then walk out of the trainstatoin to find that the two gates on either side were sealed, so the only way through to the rest of this city was through this building just infront of you, you would walk in and a CWU worker would great you.
CWU Worker: Hello and welcome to City 17. Since you are now arriving we are required to assign you, your own apartment. If you would just write your name and CID here, we will get you taken care of.
Citizen: *sets down suitcase and signs the papers*
CWU Worker: Alright. *steps over to the computer and begins typing something in, he then goes to the back room, grabs a clean looking jumpsuit, walks back out to the front desk and places the jumpsuit onto the desk, and then reaches under the desk and grabs a key handing it to the man,* alright, You are in Complex A, in apartment C3.

And that's about it. You would be assigned a room (and given a jumpsuit because, Why would you already have the correct jumpsuit.) Thing is, after all of the rooms has someone assigned, then they would go over it and make sure every room has 2 roommates, so it would greatly increase RP (Especially during zombie events and what now), andyou never know, mabye a hardcore rebel would get roomed with a loyalist, and mabye the rebel could murder the CWU man or something. Anyways it would add alot more to RP, and everyone wouldn't be bums running around the street.

I saw a system like this be run. It was a bit difficult to keep track of this as means of who owns which apartment and making sure you don't put in more than 2 people or something.

I like it, but if it happens I'd like to see it done right instead of accidental clusterf*cking of learning who is assigned what room and whatnot. Maybe keep the last names of the owners on their doors and I think there's a plugin where it gives certain characters perma-keys to the door.

Actually they had one little post on the forums that said the room name under the complex, and then next to the room it had the names like.
Complex A
A1: Kaitlyn Kasyndrov, Michael 'Mike' Mathews
A2: Cody Smith
Etc..

Also I think they had a little notepad near the desk or something.

I mean as long as the system works, I am all for it personally.

This is a great idea, though!

I try to do this when i can with my MPF, I search luggage, guide them to an apartment. RP giving them a set of rusty keys. And off they go!

This is a great idea, the only problems I see are:
1. The CWU worker not being online, or any CWU.
2. Low player count may be a factor in this.
3. Some people, this is just basic human nature, don't exactly want to sit in front of a desk and wait for /new/ players to join the server.
