A Cornered Drawing Desk

Okay this is incredibly idiotic of me to put up but seeing as how I have shown off my Half-Life 2 art on other threads I would love to show you lot some of my misc art that I have stashed in my portfolio at school. I do more than just drawing, I do paintings and digital paintings by scratch or by using stock images and the like. I even made a PORTAL2 Combustible Lemons ad that looks authentic. I've done very limited posing in GMOD and SFM but I know how to do it it and edit them in PHOTOSHOP as I have been using it give or take 7-9 years. It is hard to remember when I started. I'm fluent with many forms of art, I just haven't found the one I liked yet.
Anyways to start this off I love drawing my characters, so I drew my civilian Clarice Long in my handmade sketchbook. She used to be a pastor.

I really enjoy character design, so have a rough and tough yet rather quiet Russian ultra loyalist woman. Funny thing is she somehow became a CAs assistant on another server.


Then for a Unit idea I had. I never had a name for her but she is based off of Calhoun from Wreck it Ralph and maybe a bit of Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet. Regardless- she means business.



Also my recent SLIGHT inactivity would be due to several things including life- and futzing around on another server with prop placement, setting it up and stuff. If you want to see some of it go to my GMOD screenshots

Also my Half-Life 2 plate is almost done being glazed! The headcrab glaze kept cracking upon drying to I've had to do all sorts of crap with it to keep the coats of glaze even before firing.

Dr. Van used to be an esteemed UU biologist, and on occasion she would get a visit from an old friend, Dr. Groville, the CA of that city. Old friends, they were.

Something I whipped up for a character of mine and another. I call it 'The Old Times'.

Yet another fantastic scene. I always like making Groville smile and this captures it well. Dr. Van and Dr. Groville need moar bakstury! Moar! MOAR!

I think if things go south (either for the resistance or the UU), their reuniting would be one hell of a story to tell. No real hatred, but rather just a feeling of betrayal. "You turned you back on progress!" "You turned you back on humanity!" It would be lovely.

SO guess what is almost complete? That one ceramics MPF plate I glazed a few weeks back! It was fired! Now it looks like shit upon coming out of the kiln but i'm going to spiff it up with some paint over the bad parts and some black sharpie for the major parts. The picture of it will not be posted until Tuesday.

It is fired white clay with several varied glazes. The Brown areas around the mask and stuff is brown acrylic paint since the glaze around it looked like shit when it came out of the kiln. This shall forever remind me of my days on HL2RP!!

That's amazing! Nostalgic for sure. Make me one!

I should make them an ingame item. I'll rip the texture, compile some bump and specular maps for it, and include it in our custom content. It'll be the holy plate.

The glaze is not food-safe nor is the NAIL-POLISH on it :3 , so i'll put a banana on it for you Sheep

Oh and here is my project I'm doing for my Adv Drawing and Painting Class. The main subject is actually my older sister.



Trust me, it looks SO much better IRL (aka in real life).
