Vein: Pros and Cons.

DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion. I don't have proof for most of those points, but this is based off 6 hours of playing on there.

Pros:
Interesting idea (nope, not stolen from PZ, shh)
Fun (Not always.)
Not extremely hard (Zombies are balanced. If you think they are too slow-please, deal with it, because if they would've been faster than the ones we  have right now-everyone would've been dead by now)
Interesting lore (It's little bit cliche, but it's still very good)

Cons:
A LOTS OF MINGES (I met about 16-20 minges in 6 hours. That's A LOT.)
2 admins in total(Server is out of control.)
A lack of serious RP (40% of the whole server doesn't use /me or /it)
Way too many zombies(We literaly had a horde on our balcony. In 15 minutes.)
Needs more creative ideas(it might get boring if you're alone for 30 minutes)

Conclusion:
Server is out of control. Server is full of minges and non-serious RP. Fix all of those issues-and it's gonna be perfect.

Everyone has them.
There are also /way/ too many zombies.

Loot + NPCs (Zombies) = minging.
There isn't really a way to get a 100% serious RP server with this formula.

I even put a reason why it's a bad thing.
I could care less about it, but Sheep and Kemerd are going AFK reguarly.

Complaining about Zombies makes no sense. It's zombie roleplay. If you're shooting and yelling you expect zombies to just ignore it? No, they're going to come, and lots of them. That's the point of being quite, not screaming and shooting. It makes you think.

I agree with most of what Kermerd says, but the main issue for me is something that has caused MANY of my characters deaths- a lua error with the chatbox. Its not fixed- so I ask for it and what I'm told to do? Reconnect!! Right in the middle of roleplay?! Really?! Its pissed me off a NUMBER of times and I would request for it to be fixed some way or another. If you would like to see the exact error I get in console when it happens hit me up. If not- then I'll either assume you don't give a damn for it or you already know what it is.

I'll fix it.

The problem with the zombies isn't that there's a lot of them-that's a good thing for RP.
The problem is that zombie spawn rate is just out of control.

I hate it and if years of experience mean anything I'd recommend dropping the project and going with a probably less popular roleplay. More people=/=Good(All the time)

There are settings and variables to reduce the zombie spawn rate.

I guess I could reduce it some.

I like Vein very much. My only problem is what the original post said-"A lack of serious RP (40% of the whole server doesn't use /me or /it)". I try and RP, saying, "H-..Hey!" and someone goes "Hi." and continues running around spamming E on cars and stuff. I don't have a solution for this problem. If we could somehow control it, I'd LOVE Vein.

Does this /HAVE/ to be serious roleplay, we RP on one server. "This community is SERIOUS ROLEPLAY only." What we are going to RP zombies. Come on guys.

I've just recently added a couple of commands aswell, such as;

/gestures - shows a list of animations you can play in your /me
/roll - just like in clockwork
.// - for LOOC, [[ still works though.
@ - Contact an admin.

I am also working on the updated version of torrington with more than ever before, along with a shitton of more shops.
