Faction Forums

I'm posting this again because they told me to. Kinda.

But what I'm looking for is basically forums dedicated to groups. Where they can talk about things that really concern them, news, events and ideas. They might be better off separate from applications, just for ease. The factions that need them would include, but not limited to; Civil workers union, The MPF, Vortagaunts, and maybe a separate one for playerbased factions, so groups in game can organize just a bit better.

Well this has gotten a lot of support, so I'd like to enlighten what I'd think should be the main forums of these ones.

Roster. This is totally optional, as it can lead to the metagames, but if one were to handle this just like any other metagame incident, I wouldnt see a problem.

General. This should be for stories, suggestions, and anything really

Information. This should have guilds, not just the main one, but any guild one would find useful in that group. From PT routes, Vort language cheat sheet or other CWU information. If people were to post their own guilds, admins could mark them with approved if they think it should be implemented.

Events. This could be used for any planning of faction events, or events in general. The would be a lot less confusion if we all had active operations and events posted, like training day posts 20 minutes before they start. And for events that take place server wide, each forum could have the event posted, but in that factions view point.

As another thing I suggest, a possible player based factions forum. Nothing in it except the main page, where people can post information on their small group. I don't expect this to be active too much. But it could help people plan things with other quickly and easily

Since this isn't a be all end all plan, I could suggest a suggestion thread in each forum, things people from the group want to see in their faction forum, this could be taken down after the training wheels are kicked off, and then any suggestions could go in the General.

I suggest, within these Forum Guides we add more specific topics for different ranks and such. I do not only refer to the MpF faction but also the Vortigaunt faction, them having the Student to master ranking system. Also with the CWU they would have a CWU topic a CMU topic a CSU (Civil Scientist's Union) and anything else Sheep decides to add to the CWU.

Also, going with the 'Events' thing that Snoop has said. Each Rank or Division or Whatever you want to call it, can be assigned a specific task during the event. And if nothing too specific for that certain thing they will be part of the event orders in the General Guide. Again just a suggestion/

I agree with most of this.
I especially would like to see a roster for each faction. People can meta-game no more with a roster than with the scoreboard in game.

I wouldn't like applications being in the faction sub-forums though.
1) It clutters the faction sub-forums.
2) It makes it a little more difficult for Ser.net and I to sift through applications.
