About a week or so.

I for sure know how to roleplay properly.

3. Why do you want to play as a City Scanner?

To fill up the scanner population, benefit the community by being a scanner, and helping the Union players by being around to view crimes they cannot see themselves.

4. Have you read all of the application guidelines?

Yes, I have read all of the application guidelines.

5. What have you learned from the application guidelines?

I have learned that you must speak in a specific format when talking as a scanner.

6. Do you understand not to argue with other players?

I do understand not to argue with other players.

7. What should you do if you find yourself in a disagreement with other players?

If I am in a disagreement with another player I would immediately call in a staff member using the '@' command. If no staff member is available I would ignore the roleplay situation.  

8. Why should we accept your application?

I am able to be active as a scanner, and it would help benefit the community by having a larger scanner population.

9. Can you passive roleplay, in detail?

Yes, I can passive roleplay in detail.

10. Do you have a basic knowledge and understanding of Half-Life 2 lore?

Yes, I do have a basic knowledge and understanding of the Half-Life 2 lore.

I am on at least every other day for at least a few hours. If it comes to it I may be able to get on every day.

Yes, I do plan on being a loyal player.

/it From behind you would come the sounds of a scanner's beeping.
/me Would move its fins and emit a bright flash as you turn around.
/me Would now fly away, beeping a few more times.

I'm content with this application you've written for us. It's short and down to the point. I also like the detail you've provided for your scenario on Question #13.
