1. How long have you been on the server?

I would say I've probably played for somewhere between 4 and 8 hours? Don't quote me on that.

2. Do you know how to properly roleplay?

I have a good idea. I'm slowly learning how to be better at it but I would say I do.

3. Why do you want to play as a Vortigaunt?

I want to play as a Vortigaunt because I see very little to no Vortigaunts on the server so I would like to increase the players playing as a Vortigaunt and it just isn't fun to sit around and wander as a citizen for hours on end doing nothing but being criticized by Combine. It's fun for a while but it becomes old.

Indeed I have.

5. What have you learned from the application guidelines?

I've learned that as an enslaved Vortigaunt you can NOT use your beam until "taught" to use it by a teacher/master/elder, I also learned that you may not leave the city when enslaved as it will explode the bindings and effectively kill you.

6. Do you understand that as an enslaved Vortigaunt, if you leave the city your bindings will explode, killing you in the process?

7. Do you understand that you are not allowed to use the Vortibeam tool unless you are a certain rank? And if you use it before that rank you are subject to ban?

I understand that if I use the "Vortibeam" pre-maturely I will be whitelisted and/or banned. I do however pose a question, how am I supposed to learn how to use the beam if there are little to no Vortigaunts and there are little to no teachers/masters/elders?

8. What rank are you allowed to use the Vortibeam tool at?

You must be a rank Master or above (Elder) however if taught how to use it from a teacher before you reach this rank you may use it.

9. Do you understand that you will not be able to powergame with your powers, and you will not be able to use them at all until you learn them from an elder or teacher?

Indeed.

10. Give an example of Vortigaunt passive roleplay using the /me command.

An example of the Vortigaunt using the /me command would be "Vortigaunt speaks telepathically with it's kin" or "Vortigaunt begins speaking with it's kin in Vortigese."

CHARACTER INFORMATION:

Name: Vortigaunt (Vortigaunts don't really ever have names in Half-Life 2)

Character Backstory: When the Combine invaded the Vortigaunt home-world this one had fled to Xen. When the portal to Earth had opened my kin and I saw it as an escape from the Combine and fled through the portal. When the Combine came to Earth this one ran and hid from the Combine helping the resistance in any way I could. (I use third and first person interchangeably because Vortigaunts refer to themselves in both ways).

I am currently set as [+-Support], neutral.
You need to attempt the answer the questions you do not know.

The question asking for role-play (#10) wants to know how you'd role-play in the server using the /me command.

It was a great app, but you have to make up a backstory.
