1. How long have you been a part of Vortex Roleplay?

A few months.

2. What would you generalize to be your total playtime on Vortex?

Around 300 hours, or so.

3. How long have you been roleplaying in general?

On Half Life 2 RP? A year and a half about. Role play in general? I could not begin to guess.

4. Do you consider yourself to be efficient at roleplaying?

I learn things every day. We all do and it helps us grow and develop. But I do see myself as a efficient role player.

3. Why do you want to be a part of our Metropolice Force?

It opens up new possibilities, and interactions with characters. Not to mention I've been eyeing it for some time.

That you are not allowed to use a pistol of any kind until the rank of 04+, all else was common knowledge to me.

8. What does 10-4 mean?

It means Ok.

9. What does 11-22a mean?

Light Contraband.

What would the punishment be for that level of crime?

Two or three cycles in containment, as well as around five penalty points. Give or take one.

13. How does the standard breach and clear protocol work?

The team leader stands back and calls the shots, for the breacher on the left to break the door, and two point men on the right to move in and move left or right. But not both in the same direction.

14. What districts/areas are you allowed to enter at all times?

D1, D2, D3, D4, and D5

15. What districts/areas are you only allowed to enter under certain circumstances? List the circumstances for each area.

Rank Five, Tier One.

You happen to be in the plaza, and an armed citizen is firing a pulse-rifle everywhere. Citizens are screaming,
a few officers are down, and the situation isn't looking good.

As I am one person, attempt to radio in for backup to take them on, and/or move inside to call a Judgement Waiver.

19. Explain the ten step process of properly detaining someone. It's on the guide.
Do not copy and paste.

Find them
Have them face the wall
Tie them, and see if they resist out of character
Make them Apply, check their data
If they are a BOL, Confirmed Rebel, or Anti-Citizen, call for backup imminently
Decide their punishment, if re-education. Perform it
If to be detained, bring them to the Nexus, knocked out. Watch them until the cycle period is up for them
Have them face the wall again
Knock them out
Bring them to somewhere away from people, when they wake up, untie them and set them on their way

20. How does division ranking advancement work?

I will not lie this took some time to get used to, and I may actually be a tad rusty.

At promotion from recruit, you are given a division. (You pick OOCly) you start in that division as a 05, tier one. You rank up from 5 to 4 then to 3, and so on. If you get promoted from one, you can either choose to go onto the next tier or become the OfC, to then rank up to CmD. Once you get to fourth tier, you can rank up from CmD to DvL.

21. At which rank are you allowed to authorize Judgement Waivers?

Tier Two

Being friends with them ICly, and OOCly. Being showed some tips and tricks so if I came in i'd fit in easier.

Because I know how to be an MPF, and have shown to be capable at role play.

Because I am a skilled role player.

I do not understand what is required of below, if it is a character for a new unit being made or, a already made character that is to be made into a MPF.

Previous locations of residence before city seventeen: City Eighteen, Relocated

Character Back story: When the Universal Union, or as he calls them the Benefactors. Finally took over Earth, in only seven hours. He had mixed feelings at first, and at the start had a hard time adjusting. He lost his father to the war this made him begin to resent those who fought against the Union. He took time to care for his mother, doing regular work cycles and splitting his rations with her. Eventually she died of just old age and he was alone in the world. Deciding he wished to actually do something, he enlisted in the Metro Police Force, he finally wanted to do something good. Eyeing the Apex division, that he loved for their science, as he was a pre-takeover lab technician at Golden Sun Industries he thought it would fit him well. He decided to take the safe rout and learn protocol before going into training, many tired nights were spent learning over protocols and handouts.

The bottom portion requires the information of the character that is applying for the MPF, I believe.

Fixed, I got confused there for a moment, because I thought I was making an actual character for it. That would be my MPF. Thanks to Anon and Elder for explaining it!

+ Support, although soem of the answers are full and well thought out, some seem a bit lacking and rushed.

Funny enough it used to be longer, and more block of text. But I felt short and to the point would have suited it's purpose well. I suppose I should have found a balance however.

This is strange, as the "Resistance was not yet formed, it isn't technically "The resistance" until later on. Unless you mean the human race resisting during the war..
