I have been with Vortex Roleplay since mid-May. ( 3 weeks)

2. What would you generalize to be your total playtime on Vortex?

Around 24 hours

2 years in total

4. Do you consider yourself to be efficient at roleplaying?

I am efficient considering I can think quickly. I know how to use the /me correctly and able to stay in character.

3. Why do you want to be a part of our Metropolice Force?

It brings a whole new experience for the hl2rp roleplaying universe, and it brings me to be more involved in RP.

4. Have you read all of the Informative Guidelines?
These are the tips at the top of the application.

I have read through both the guidelines and the guide itself many times.

5. What have you learned from the application guidelines?

Do not take minges into your own hands and have good attitude.

Yes I have plenty of times.

What would the punishment be for that level of crime?

Level 3 Crime, 2-3 Cycles, 4-6 Penalty Points

13. How does the standard breach and clear protocol work?

Team leader stands infront of the door when the two pointmen stay on the right of the door and the breacher stays on the left. Breacher waits for the “Inject” call from the team leader before breaching. After breaching Pointman 1 runs to the left of the room, afterwards Pointmen 2 Turns to the right of the room. Breacher stays outside unless second breaching is needed. Team leader makes the calls and has an option whether to go in after the room is cleared.

14. What districts/areas are you allowed to enter at all times?

Districts 1-5

15. What districts/areas are you only allowed to enter under certain circumstances? List the circumstances for each area.

District 7/Shell Beach(Only when opened for citizens)

You are never allowed to enter District 6.

18. What action do you take in the following situation:
You happen to be in the plaza, and an armed citizen is firing a pulse-rifle everywhere. Citizens are screaming,
a few officers are down, and the situation isn't looking good.

Get down to cover and call for backup, once in awhile begin to fire towards shooter.

19. Explain the ten step process of properly detaining someone. It's on the guide.
Do not copy and paste.

1. Find and capture criminal.
2. Direct them toward the nearest wall.
3. Tie them (.// resist?)
4. Order them to apply, get CID(/viewdata)
5. If Anti-Citizen radio in for support.
6. Figure out punishment and level for detainment
7. If punishment is higher then re-education, take them to a detainment cell and stick with them for the duration.
8. Come in after the time is up and call them to the wall.
9. Knock them out.
10. Bring them outside in city bounds, wait for them to regain consciousness and untie them.

20. How does division ranking advancement work?

Pick division after RCT, When you reach 01 you can move up to OfC and CmD, or you move onto the next tier(last tier forces need to move up to OfC and above)

21. At which rank are you allowed to authorize Judgement Waivers?

Once you are ranked up to the Second Tier, you are now allowed to authorize Judgement Waivers.

If the situation if petty enough, resolve with both parties. If not, get a staff member to help.

29. What are your past experiences in the Metropolice Force?

To be honest, very little. In another community, I made it up to 04 (third rank for the server)

30. Why should we accept your application?

Usually when I’m on there is a lack of MPF and I fit the standards, I would be inclined to be more active on the server.

31. Why should we accept your application over other player's applications?

If my application is better than others then it is better, this isn’t a competition.

32. What happens if you do not stay in-character, or try to mess-around and simply void it afterwards?

Warnings, eventually leading to de-whitelist.

33. Do you tend to complain a lot?

If I have a problem I keep it to myself usually, if it gets out of hand then I would contact a admin and ask him to find a way to resolve a problem.

34. Do you have any close friends who play on the server, that could recommend you?

Yes, DeXposition showed me this server, and I’m thankful that he did so now I can be in a new community and make new friends.

35. Can you passively roleplay, using detailed actions?

Yes I can use /me efficiently and I stay in character at all times.

36. Do you have a basic knowledge and understanding of Half-Life 2 lore?

I have finished the Half Life 2 game trilogy, and DeXposition never holds back to fill me in on /everything/ (help me)

37. How active are you on the server?

I usually spend 2-3 hours a day.

38. How well can you follow instructions?

If I am confused about instructions I never hesitate to ask. I can follow instructions well because I read over the rules in my free time.

39. Do you plan on being a loyal player?
Yes I plan on listening to the rules and taking orders from admins.

Character Backstory:
Calvin’s love for lurking the shadows was nothing if not next to hereditary. In the late 70’s, Jarrett Weinmann, Calvin’s father, was hired by a private company, used in corporate espionage.  Calvin was quick to learn this after finding some old, musty file folder containing details of his fathers doings, finding things his father could never let go. As it turns out, Jarrett wasn’t the only man unable to let go of past work. On August 18, 1998, a large firearm was discharged, ringing across the small town Calvin was born and raised in. Seven days later, Calvin was a pallbearer, carrying a casket that stored a lifeless body, with a mangled face. School became a problem for Calvin, becoming the lone kid who never seemed the same, his mental state… different. On May of 1999, he committed his first crime, sneaking into his school, stealing money from the donation box and changing his grades. The main problem? Him not getting caught. An investigation was started, but quickly withheld due to some ‘sciencey’ mishap that happened in the states. Calvin and his mother were urged to locate to the closest large city, where they will be held indefinitely. Calvin saw this, even in his youth, as a way to renew his life, start fresh. Calvin always saw times of distress as opportunities to test out his myriad of skills in the art of stealth.  This was short lived, when a news portal opened, this time with a plethora or races Calvin couldn’t outsmart. Calvin learned this the hard way, in a hard cell. After that, Calvin adapted an old cliche, that seemed ever so fitting:
“If you can’t beat them, join them.”
